I love what this fountain does to the ambiance of the Lobby.
Just enjoyed watching and listening to this :)
CRIMSON HOTEL, ALABANG
With the numerous hotels in Alabang, it was at first difficult for me to choose which hotel to stay.
But, the moment i entered The Crimson Hotel - i know i made the right choice.
The Hotel has a great lightings, decors and artworks.
It is widely spacious and has a comfortable ambiance.
Its just so relaxing and quiet and warm.
The reception area is huge as well and the personnel is so accommodating.
And our room?
We booked a Deluxe Room via Agoda, and to our surprise, it felt like a Premier. :)
Our beds are as soft as it can ever be.
The comforter, pillows… everything feels so comfy.
So even if we only booked a Deluxe (cheapest room rate), the feeling is more like an upgraded room.
And our view - is just so lovely.
Even at night.
Our room is furnished with the bar area…
and Office desk.
Plus, they do have a FREE Shuttle Service from morning til night.
The Hotel’s amenities includes Pool with Pool Bar…
Pastry & Sandwich corner…
And their Cafe Eight.
This is where the buffet breakfast is held daily. :)
Over all, my experience was definitely a “WOW”.
Everything the hotel offers makes me just want to stay longer, if only. :)
So if you are a business traveller, a tourist or simply a person who wants a staycation - the hotel is highly recommended considering its great location in Alabang and its relatively affordable price. :)
I could spend my whole day watching this while sitting beside the person i love, holding his hands and leaning my head on his shoulders.
Can you imagine the picture? :) #simpleJoys #iLoveFlowingWater

THE MANOR @ CAMP JOHN HAY, BAGUIO
Baguio is known for its cold weather and nature views - and The Manor suits and blends to this perfectly.
It is a country-style hotel with wood works everywhere and a huge fire place.
You’ll love the tranquility, quietness….
lightings, wood works, decors…
the greens and forest surroundings…
and the nature view with the lovely weather.
Such a great stay for relaxation and vacation… (sigh).
Our Deluxe room (garden view) is spacious and clean, equipped with everything you’ll need.
I love the coldness the ceiling fan brings to the room…
Plus, the coldness and view from our veranda.
The restroom is spacious, clean and has complete toiletries as well.
And at night….
The view and tranquility gets even better. :)
They have a Gym, Sauna and Jacuzzi (men/women are separated)…
which has a great garden view…
and the fire place area with the pianist and singers.
My only wish - is that i could stay even longer. :)
So if you are looking for a tranquil and quiet stay with a great cold weather - head on to Baguio and book at The Manor, which i now call "The Baguio Hotel".

Q:Hi Charrie, my name is Claire. I read your blog about the outreach program you and your friends did for the Aeta families in Pampanga. I just would like to know how many kilos of pork/chicken you prepared and how many did you feed. I wanted to get an idea as to how many should I prepare for my visit to them. BTW, I already talked to Sister Angela and she's assisting me with my program. Thank you and God bless.
Hi Claire. :)
Thank you for showing interest in helping the Aeta families in Pampanga.
Anyway, we prepared around 3 Kilos of Chicken and 2 Kilos of Pork (total of 5 kilos). All were cut into small pieces with potatoes and more adobo soup. Plus, 10Kg of Rice.
- 5 Kilos of Chicken & Pork were not enough. 10 Kilos of Rice are not enough as well.
This is because the kids eat more rice than adobo. And they keep coming back for more extra rice.
Plus during the feeding program, there were other Aetas who lined up even if they are not counted in the lists. And of course, we still accommodated them.
As a result, the rice were emptied right away, despite still having adobo.
- Thus, I suggest you prepare more rice. Around 20 Kilos if possible.
- For the meat, you may prepare around 8 Kilos of Chicken & Pork in order to accommodate more families.
Hope this was helpful to you. Feel free to ask more. Im happy to help :) Please give my regards to Sister Angela. God bless you.
